Quick water melon salad

As long as the weather is still nice and the mood for some BBQ is there, we want to provide you with a simple recipe to complete your list of side dishes.

When you are once again in a hurry or you want to join a BBQ spontaneously, why not bring a cold melon salad? Check out our refreshing and really fast to make recipe:

Quick water melon salad

  • 500 g water melon
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch of basil
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt, pepper


  • Cut melon in bite-sized cubes.
  • Wash the tomatoes and cut in half.
  • Wash and chop the basil.
  • Put into a big bowl olive oil lemon jucie, salt, pepper and basil.
  • Then add melon cubes and tomatoes to the bowl and mix cerefully.


You can also add tofu like “feta” or olives, for example.
